Virginia Park is a wonderful neighbourhood nestled between Edmonton’s famed river valley and Northlands Park.
I am delighted to be a recent Virginia Park resident. What I love about this area is firstly our neighbours. From the moment we arrived in the neighbourhood our neighbours greeted us with open arms (and baked goods). Ted, my fur-baby, and I are steps from the extensive trails of the river valley. When it’s dark or too icy to get to the river, we are happy to explore the Concordia University campus. Other excellent features include the memorable tile mosaic on the Virginia Park School, cross-country skiing on the Highlands Golf Course, and enjoying a picnic in Borden Park. I am excited to be a block connector with the Virginia Park Community League this year.
